Juicing or incorporating juices and smoothies into our diets has become a big trend. Many do so to have a healthier lifestyle, lose weight, or just make the consumption of vitamins and minerals easier.
It is important to combine the vitamins (A, C, D and others) and minerals (magnesium, calcium, potassium and more) correctly.
For example, some foods can help your body absorb iron from iron-rich foods and some can obstruct it.
To enhance your absorption of iron, eat it along with a good source of vitamin C such as orange juice, kale, broccoli, red peppers or strawberries.
